Taking centre stage on the TME Stand (D-060) will be the MM7100 ThermoBar ScanThermometer. Using high accuracy temperature measurement combined with an integral Barcode reader, this truly innovative thermometer records not only the temperature, time and date of each measurement but also scans barcodes to identify products or test points. User-friendly features include:
  • User-programmable alarms and remedial action recommendations
  • Download of temperature measurements to PC via Bluetooth or USB interface
  • Large screen displaying instant feedback on each temperature measurement
  • Scrolling buttons allowing users to examine previous measurements
  • Supplied with free open-source software as standard

For 25 years, TME has delivered continuous innovation: launching one of the very first microprocessor controlled thermometers; developing ergonomically moulded dishwasher-safe probe handles; launching one of the first button-free foldout thermometers and developing superfast 3-second response ThermaSprint needle probes.

The same confidence extends to quality and service: TME is the only British manufacturer offering a Thermometerfor Life promise. “In addition to our 2 year manufacturer’s warranty, TME guarantees to repair/replace any of our thermometers you damage for no more than £35.”

TME visitors are sure of a warm welcome: “Anuga’s a great opportunity if you haven’t seen our products up close before, to pick up the equipment and give it a try. And we’re always happy to give free advice, so if you need expert solutions come and see us - don’t be shy!”

MD, Tom Sensier says: “The Casual Dining exhibition surpassed our expectations. Visitors to the beautiful BDC exhibition hall in Islington were bowled over by our innovative barcode scanning thermometers.”

TME’s entry in the show’s Innovation Challenge; the MM7100 ThermoBar Scan Thermometer, attracted a number of new and exciting prospects, impressed by the original combination of high accuracy temperature measurement with an integral Barcode reader. Visitors immediately grasped the advantage of being able to record not only the temperature, time and date of each measurement but also the unique barcode identity of the product or test point.

Visitors also liked the user-programmable alarm feature, which allows users to program remedial action recommendations for individual or global alarms, the ability to scroll through results to previous readings and the capability to store up to 1,000 readings before downloading via Bluetooth or USB interface. Many new contacts expressed surprise that the fully integrated software came free with the unit.

Asset management
Many visitors also saw the potential to use the MM7100 for general asset-management as well as to monitor temperature. From security to stocktaking to pest control; if it has a barcode, the MM7100 can ensure accurate, traceable records.

New Developments: MM7100 New Generation ThermoBarScan Barcode Scanning Thermometer with Bluetooth

Here at TME, we're always squirrelling away to develop new time, money and problem-solving temperature technology. In this series of posts, we'll keep an up-to-date log of all of our latest developments and newest products.

The MM7100 New Generation ThermoBarScan

TME is excited to launch a new Barcode scanning logging thermometer, the MM7100 New Generation ThermoBarScan, representing the next generation in handheld temperature measurement.

Unique capabilities

Using high accuracy temperature measurement combined with its own integral Barcode reader, this truly innovative thermometer can record not only the temperature, time and date of each measurement but also scans user-set barcodes to identify every product or test point. Up to 1000 separate measurements can be stored on the instrument at any one time before downloading to PC, easily achieved using free open-source software, adding up to a surprisingly cost-effective solution.

Versatility

The MM7100 is compatible with all standard thermocouple temperature sensors and probes, and customers can choose from Bluetooth or USB interface.

Flexibility

The user is offered the choice of programming alarm limits for individual targets/locations, global alarms for all temperature test points, or even specially designed legionella-safe alarm limits. The user can also choose their own remedial action recommendations, which display when an alarm limit is exceeded. In-line with customer requests, the MM7100 also features the ability to log a temperature without scanning a barcode.

High level information

Added-value features provide detailed information to support HACCP and ensure due diligence.

  • A large screen displaying instant feedback on each temperature measurement
  • Scrolling buttons on the instrument allow users to examine previous measurements
  • On-screen information about the product or test point location

Affordable

The new MM7100 is surprisingly affordable, at just £525 (+VAT), it is competitively priced, and, what’s more, is even compatible with TME’s unbeatable Thermometer for Life guarantee: to repair/replace any thermometer you damage for no more than £55.
